Bengaluru Rave Party Raid: Telugu actress Hema has been arrested in relation to her involvement in a large rave party in Bengaluru. Hema has been sent to 14-day judicial custody following her arrest.
Telugu actress Hema has been issued a second notice by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bengaluru Police to appear for questioning regarding her involvement in a rave party. This follows her failure to attend the initial questioning, citing illness.
The Incident
On the night of May 19-20, a rave party was held at a farmhouse in Electronic City, Bengaluru, advertised as a birthday celebration. The police raided the party, seizing MDMA pills and cocaine. Blood tests revealed that 86 out of 103 attendees tested positive for drug consumption, including Hema.
Hema’s Denial and Evidence
Hema initially denied attending the party, releasing a video claiming she was in Hyderabad. However, police obtained CCTV footage and photographs proving her presence at the event. This evidence showed her in the same attire as in her denial video.
Current Status
Five individuals, including drug peddlers and the event organizer, have been arrested. The CCB is continuing its investigation and preparing for further questioning of those involved.
