Support has poured in from around the world after the Israeli strike killed 45 civilians. An image calling on people to do so has been shared more than 29 million times on Instagram in less than 24 hours.
The image, shared primarily through Instagram’s Stories feature, features influencers, athletes, and celebrities — including “Bridgerton” star Nicola Coughlan, singer-songwriter Kehlani, and some of India’s top actors, including Varun Dhawan, Priyanka Chopra and also Alia Bhatt.
The image reads “All Eyes on Rafah,” a city filled with refugee tent camps south of Gaza.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the country’s parliament in Hebrew that the casualties were a “tragic accident.”

UN chief says ‘horrors’ in Gaza must stop after Israel’s deadly strikes on Rafah
“Israeli authorities must ensure immediate, safe and uninterrupted access to humanitarian aid to those in need. All crossing points must be kept open,” UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said.
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Tuesday condemned Israel’s deadly airstrikes on Rafah in the Gaza Strip on May 26. He also called for an immediate end to the horror and suffering.
