Recently, the launch timeline of the Maruti EVX electric SUV has been confirmed, which reveals that it will go on sale in India by December 2024, and is expected to be priced between Rs 20.00 lakh and Rs 25.00 lakh depending on the variant chosen. The Maruti Suzuki eVX will be powered by a 60kWh battery pack, a 5-seater configuration, and also an electric motor. The company claims that the electric SUV will offer a range of 550km on a single full charge.
Design elements of the new Maruti Suzuki EVX will include dual-pod projector headlamps, a new grille, silver-coloured multi-spoke alloy wheels, LED taillights, LED light bar at the rear, front door-mounted ORVMs, rear wiper and washer, roof rails, shark-fin antenna, rear bumper-mounted number plate recess, and an integrated spoiler. The eVX will be available at Nexa outlets and is expected to come in Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha variants.
Inside Maruti’s first electric car, there could be a large touchscreen unit, a fully digital instrument console, a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, electrically adjustable front seats, a floating center console, glossy-black inserts, and an auto-dimming IRVM.
The Maruti eVX was also spotted testing with its likely production-spec alloy wheels. The brand’s first EV for India will be introduced in early 2025. Maruti Suzuki showcased the eVX in concept form at the Auto Expo 2023. The model is expected to launch in a production-ready avatar in 2025.
