The Honda Activa 7G will be the successor to the Japanese bike maker’s best-selling scooter in India, the Activa 6G. Although the 6G lacked features like a fully digital display with smartphone connectivity and a front disc brake, the upcoming scooter could make up for all these shortcomings. Although there is no confirmed launch date yet, it is expected to be available in India by May 2023.

Honda Activa 7G: Features
Talking about the features, the upcoming Honda Activa 7G is expected to have a fully digital instrument console. At the same time, the Activa 6G has an old-fashioned analog instrument panel. The other scooters in its group have modern digital displays, which look more up-to-date. Apart from this, the seventh generation of Honda Activa is also expected to include Bluetooth connectivity, which will further enhance its feature set.

Hybrid Engine
Yamaha is the only brand that is offering hybrid engine technology in its scooters. The Yamaha Fascino 125 and Ray ZR 125 use hybrid technology for fuel efficiency with auto start-stop and smart motor generator. We expect Honda to offer a similar hybrid engine in the Activa 7G as well. Currently, the Honda Activa 6G has a 110cc engine that produces 7.68bhp and 8.84Nm of torque.
Honda Activa 7G – Performance and Hardware
The upcoming Honda Activa 7G is expected to retain its trusted 109.51cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine. This engine always performs well and was used in the previous Activa model. It can generate 7.79 horsepower and 8.84 Nm of torque.
Talking about the mechanical parts of the upcoming Honda Activa 7G, it is expected to have telescopic front suspension and rear mono-shock which you can adjust for preload. It may also have a larger 12-inch front wheel and a smaller 10-inch rear wheel to make it more stable and balanced.
