2025 Honda Civic Hybrid: Variants, Pricing, and Performance Highlights

Honda will sell the 2025 Civic Hybrid in two variants: Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid. The Sport Hybrid starts at Rs 24,92,637.99 while the Sport Touring Hybrid starts at Rs 27,43,196.34. Switching from the regular Sport model with a 2.0-liter engine to the hybrid version will cost you an additional Rs 2,08,798.63.

The new Honda Civic is their best car yet. It’s a small sedan or hatchback that’s spacious inside, performs well, and has all of Honda’s latest technology and safety features. If you like powerful driving, a high-performance variant with 315 horsepower is also available.

Key Exterior Features

Fishmouth Grille – The Civic’s updated grille design, called the “fishmouth” grille, gives the car’s front end a more sporty and aggressive look

Smoother Lines – The overall shape has been made smoother, getting rid of the “beluga whale” look that was a point of criticism for previous models.

Updated Headlights – LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and new headlights further enhance the attractive and stylish look of the car.

Front and Rear Uniformity – The hatchback and sedan versions now have the same front-end design, which helps create a unified brand identity.

New Color Options – The hatchback now comes in a unique blue color and also offers a new sand color, giving buyers more options if they demand something different

Powertrain

The 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid is expected to have a powertrain similar to the one found in the Accord Hybrid and CR-V Hybrid. These models use a hybrid system that pairs a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine with two electric motors to deliver remarkable fuel economy and performance. The Civic Hybrid’s powertrain will likely be less powerful than the Accord Hybrid’s 204 horsepower, but it should still be better than the powertrain offered by the current Civic’s optional 180-horsepower 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. Although the CR-V Hybrid is available with all-wheel drive, the new Civic Hybrid will likely remain front-wheel drive (like the Accord Hybrid).

Performance and Fuel Economy

This setup is designed to be very fuel-efficient, with Honda estimating that it can get 50 miles per gallon in the city and 47 mpg on the highway for the sedan version. However, based on the 2024 Toyota Corolla Hybrid model, provides better fuel efficiency up to 53 mpg in the city and 46 mpg on the highway. However, the Corolla Hybrid is not as powerful as the Civic Hybrid.
